My Journey
I wouldn't be where I am today, a VP, always learning, always growing—without the wisdom of mentors like Gary Vaynerchuk, Alex Hormozi, and Codie Sanchez. I've consumed every YouTube video, taken countless courses, read and summarized every book, and applied their advice about taking risks and exceeding expectations. Their drive and insights have been invaluable to my career trajectory.
But I’ve learned I have a tendency to overdo it. I'd take their brilliant strategies and dial them up to 11, optimizing my life like a machine instead of enjoying precious moments with my loved ones. The hustle was working—I was climbing the ladder—but I was also burning out trying to keep up with a pace that wasn't sustainable for who I am.
Enter the "woo"—and yes, I'm fully aware of how that sounds in corporate America. While my colleagues are posting on LinkedIn about market reports (and I am, too, to be clear) I was pulling tarot cards as a centering exercise before big meetings. I started following the weather of astrology to understand my own rhythms and energy cycles. I dove deep into my Human Design chart and Gene Keys profile, using them as navigation tools to understand not just how I am wired, but what I am actually meant to do.
These practices aren't party tricks or escapism—they're how I built my intuitive muscle through meditation and writing, learning to tap into the inner voice that knows things before my logical brain catches up. My tarot deck(s) have guided me through career pivots, crazy work situations, and to show me my blind spots. My Human Design showed me how to make decisions that are aligned with how I’m built, and my Gene Keys revealed the unique way I'm meant to contribute to the world, as well as the traps I fall into, in order to walk out of the cage I’ve put myself in most of my life.
My journey now is about finding the sweet spot between proven business strategies and tactics, and ancient wisdom practices, between incredible success principles and my own need for inner peace and contentment. Not everyone is meant for the billionaire lifestyle, and that's okay. Some of us are wired to make a difference, help others, and leave a legacy that isn't necessarily measured in net worth. We want to live comfortably while being of service, to build something meaningful while still having energy left for the sunset. And that’s what I’m here to give.
